The Chicago Bears defensive tackle Tank Johnson was arrested this last thursday when Chicago police found six unregistered firearms at his house. It was the third time in eighteen months that Johnson was arrested. Later in the evening on the 14th, Johnson's friend and bodyguard was shot to death in a nightclub where the two were hanging out. His future with the Chicago Bears is in limbo right now, and for good reason. I personally think they should kick him off the team permanently. He sets a bad example for all professional atheletes. No one should be above the law.

David Hester, the second-round draft pick for the Chicago Bears this year, had one hell of a game this last weekend. Fans were freakin' out in St. Louis when Hester set a NFL record with his 5th and 6th returns for touchdowns this season. The crowd started chanting, "Let's go, Bears!". Coach Lovie Smith said he almost felt like he was back home. Rex Grossman was looking better this week, too. The Bears just might go all the way!

So can Rex Grossman lead the Chicago Bears to a win this next week against St. Louis? That's the question that every Bears fan is asking themselves right now. If he can just react and stop overthinking it, he'll be fine. I think Coach Lovie is right. Grossman will not get any better by being sidelined. I look forward to seeeing the game this next week. I've got my ticket!
