Kobe Not a Wilt By Far

I think that Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers is a great player and that he deserves a lot of praise for scoring 81 points in one game. People have been comparing him to Wilt Chamberlain and I think that is just because he is the second highest scorer under Wilt. I do not think that Kobe Bryant has the depth of talent or character to be compared to a basketball legend like Wilt Chamberlain.

Carolina Threatens Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears meet the Panthers on Sunday in their first NFC Championship game since 1998. Not even a loss could muddy the Bears fine reputation as a winning team this season. We had some great wins and our defense was consistently unstoppable in the regular season. The Panthers impressed the world last week with their complete shutout victory over the New York Giants. Eli Manning had a terrible game and was plagued by turnovers throughout the game. If we play it right and don’t get flustered we can surely overpower and out play Carolina with ease.

Bears Give Vikings the Win

The Chicago Bears loss to the Minnesota Vikings really meant nothing. We rested a lot of our starters and tried to have a kind of bye week because we had already clinched a playoff spot. We allowed the Vikings the 34-10 because we didn’t need the victory and we had already earned a first-round bye. Our starters will be extra rested when we play our first playoff game at Soldier Field. We have the chance to play the Buccaneers, Giants or Panthers. The Bears could possibly get home-field advantage for the NFC Championship, if the Seahawks lose and we win our second-round playoff games. Let’s keep our fingers crossed and hope for a Super Bowl finish to this awesome season.
