Bad for Them, Good for Us
Here's an interesting article by Rod Woodson, talking about how different offseason is these days. From the players' perspective, I have to admit it must suck. There really is no real break.
But from my point of view, it means the team is that much better, stronger, faster...plus, I am that much more entertained. Sorry, guys!

Not So Blue
I bought some theater tickets online today, and it reminded me of how easy the internet makes everything. Need flowers for Mom? Order online and get them to her tomorrow! Need a last-minute flight? Visit a website and print out your e-ticket before rushing to the airport.
When the internet first became popular, it took me a while to warm up. But man do I love it now. I don't know how many really really really cold nights I spent camped outside, trying to get popular concert tickets. It was miserable. I was young and could take it, but ugh.
And now, the only discomfort I have is maybe some carpal tunnel. I can take that, no problem. Thanks, Al Gore.

Never count out the Bears
Unbelievable - that's all I have to say. I missed the game, and then read this. Of all the games to skip out on... all the drives to miss...
I'd have given my left leg to have seen that one. 97 yards!
